Commencement Day

Today is the day—Commencement at Bushnell University. It feels surreal to say that I’ve officially reached the finish line of my undergraduate journey. After years of dedication, studying, setbacks, victories, and growth, I’m incredibly proud to be standing here on graduation day.

I am more than pleased to be graduating with the Software Engineering department. I’m grateful for the friendships and connections I’ve made with my classmates and professors. The support and encouragement from my peers have been invaluable, and I’m excited to see where our paths lead us next.

I’m filled with joy and gratitude to be spending this moment with my family and friends as well. Their love, support, and encouragement have meant everything to me along the way. Sharing this milestone with them makes it even more meaningful.

College has been a rewarding chapter of my life. From my early days at Saint Martin’s University in Washington to my final two years here at Bushnell, each step has shaped who I am—both personally and professionally. I’ve grown in confidence, built lasting relationships, and gained valuable knowledge in Computer Science and Mathematics.

There were tough times, times I questioned if I would make it, but I stayed committed. Today, that commitment pays off as I prepare to walk across the stage and receive my diploma. That moment will mark not just an academic achievement, but a celebration of persistence, growth, and belief in myself.

As I approached the stage, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. The moment I shook hands with President Dr. Joseph D. Womack and received my diploma was surreal. It was a culmination of years of hard work, sleepless nights, and countless hours spent studying and coding.

I can’t wait to begin the next chapter of my life and career, carrying everything I’ve learned with me. To my fellow graduates: congratulations! And to my friends, mentors, professors, and especially my family—thank you.

Let’s celebrate this moment—we’ve earned it.

Spending the rest of the day with friends and family was the perfect way to wrap up this incredible day. We took photos, shared laughs, and reflected on the journey that brought us here. I’m grateful for every moment and every person who has been part of this experience.

As I look ahead, I’m excited about the future. I’m ready to embrace new challenges, continue learning, and make a positive impact in the world. This is just the beginning.
